About us

Who we are
Succour Foundation was established in 2013 as a Non-profitable Organisation responding to the challenges of 2.3 million Children Orphaned as a result of Civil unrest and the AIDS Epidemic. Traditionally Orphans in Uganda are cared for and raised by their extended families, sadly because of the death of many Parental Guardians it has led to sudden increase in the number of Orphans. Families and Communities are no longer able to care for their vulnerable Children.
Our Philosophy
Sense of Family & Community
We believe Orphans should maintain their sense of family and community. This means helping them strengthen relationships with extended family and enabling them to stay together in their own home.
Property Rights
We help Orphans hold on to their property rights and when they are old enough.
Skills and Knowledge
We Teach Orphans the Skills and knowledge they need to become financially self sufficient.
Sustainable Solutions
We believe in long term sustainable solutions, development can only happen through respectful partnership with local communities. We help communities empower themselves and permanently improve their standard of living.
